Condor has returned to Corfu after several hours at sea.  There was a problem with an oil seal on the engine and although a sailing vessel, the engine is required when conditions require as well as when entering or leaving port. There are not difficulties at Corfu for obtaining a replacement seal and this can be fitted during the next few days.  When all is repaired they will set sail once again for Malta as planned.

Condor left Kos at 7am Friday and arrived at anchorage in Asti Palaia at 2pm. Nothing much there except at small Tavern where they all had dinner.  John and Jim went fishing in the dingy.

They left Asti Palaia at 7am today (Saturday) and have good sailing weather so have decided to proceed on to Naxos, eta 5pm.  There is a town marina at the port and hope to tie up to the dock overnight.  They will now be only 2 days from the Corinthian canal (short hops) but David has not given me an update on the next itinerary yet.

Everybody is well and enjoying the sail.

Condor left Turgutreis, Turkey at about 12:00 PM yesterday Wed 17th May
and arrived at Kos, Greece about an hour later.   Marina is very classy
as was Turkey but the food supplies are more European and the labels are
easier to understand.   We'll leave Kos tomorrow and plan to just stay
at anchor for the nest 2 weeks on our way to the Corinth Canal and then
on to Corfu.
